"The
history of humanity is the story of the evolution of consciousness. In
our earliest and most primitive form as a species we were concerned with
nothing but self and survival and governed by what science calls the
reptilian brain. The next level of consciousness found us with a primary
allegiance that extended no further than the immediate family of mate
and offspring. As we continued to evolve our personal world expanded to
include the extended family unit of clan and eventually tribe
– a
collection of extended families or clans. Then came the development of
civilization in which our boundaries expanded to include those within a
given geographical area, language group or ethnicity. Thus was born the
city-states of ancient Greece and eventually nations. This is where we
are today. Nationalism has been elevated to a god-like state
through War, and Old Glory turned inside out and back-to-front to
represent all that is wrong.

What is the next evolutionary stage of human consciousness? It is
seeing that at a deep level that the artificial and
often arbitrary geographical boundaries of nation-states and their
unenlightened governance given to selfishness, greed and immense corruption are
hastening our demise. Our only recourse is to realize that We, The
People, are all in this together – One Earth – One
Humanity – One Destiny. We have a moral and social choice:
Perpetual War or Perpetual Peace: This is the only REAL CRISIS AND CHOICE that confronts us and our Humanity TODAY. We are faced with the reality to keep going with the same old, same old that is proving itself as nothing but a death and hell spiral for all and everything; or catch a new spiral of life that will take us to untold joys and pleasures to be alive and fulfilled on this beautiful and wondrous blue orb.
The Earth is coming to its limit to support our toxic and warring ways. Nature wants to continue to mother us just as much as we want to mother Nature. The only way forward is in a common passion to "love one another" in all its noble and at the same time humble sense and to learn from all. No more inequality. No more injustice. No more disrespect for each other, Nature or life. Planetization is the way forward in a common compassion and ethic that harnesses all our individual, unique and creative passions for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all – just as the American founders of their nation intended. That is why we protected the meaning of Old Glory from those who hijacked and debauched her – in the vision of New Glory as Old Glory unabridged:
