God and Prayer
—
Prayer, said Dr. Alexis Carrel, a foremost scientist, is "one of the most powerful forms of energy man can generate"—therefore we can take as truth the Humanistic model of life vs the Mechanistic model which simply sees Human beings as "things" and expendable, which is why we have War—given to the ideology of hierarchy and the subsequent realities of inequality.
The Humanistic model, through the idea of prayer, sees Human beings whose depth far exceeds the limits of the three dimensional world, and is therefore not determined by any oppressive or controlling influence or force—hence the phrase, "God is great" or Allahu Akbar in the religion of Islam and the idea of Equality of all possibilities for all Human beings: "In the eyes of my Lord, all people are equal"—said the Prophet of Islam.
Equality is the right blueprint
of Life—building on
our conscious evolution through the Humanistic qualities of Peace, Love
and Sharing, vs the Darwinian concept of "survival of the fittest"—which
draws directly on human basal or animalistic qualities in life of Fear,
War, loathing and selfishness.

subjective reality is the primary guide for human behaviour • studying individuals is more informative than studying what groups of
individuals have in common
•
a major effort should be made to discover those things that expand
•
research should seek to find those things that will help solve human
problems • the goal of psychology is to formulate a complete description of what it means to
be
a human being (includes importance of language, emotions, how humans
seek to find meaning in their lives)
The humanist is interested in a person’s everyday life behaviour as it
occurs in the natural environment, not in constricted pieces of
artificial behaviour as they occur in the laboratory: By definition,
humanism is both a world view (philosophy of man) as well as an applied
psychology (psychotherapeutic approach).
